Habitual Chicken Ritual, The Habitat

So every Tuesday is Wing Night at The Habitat and we load our inner cores with bird parts. But it all comes to a head like a smoking pimple on August 26th, 2008. Be there to watch sickening amounts of chicken go into 12 contestants.

Josh's Williamsburg Roof Party, Brooklyn

Pig roast at Mark Firth's, Mastic

One of my faves on the NYC restaurant scene is by far Marlow and Sons. Both owners Mark Firth and Andrew Tarlow both own summer retreats there in Mastic, and through coiincidence we wound up at Marks Birthday Pig Roast. Beyond the amazing edibles it was nice to see other Brooklyn peeps doing the same as us. Crowded with faces that grace the sidewalks of Williamsburg and Greenpoint, the notion played through my head that Mastic IS changing for the better.

CoCo 68 (The Restaurant)

First off, I am wondering, where is the woman that puts deodorant under her booby?
Went to CoCo's 68 tonight after checking out the new Habitat Bar.

Dinner went like this.
Yuki, Johnny, and Nicole.

Bacon wrapped Dates.
Musculun Salad with candied walbuts and onions.

Wild Mushroom Risoto with spinach and parmesean.
Tilapia with a mound of yummy shit atop.
Rigatoni with feta.

*** Three stars only cause the food was a little cool when we received but if the heat lamps get stronger, it can can go to 4.
