Mike Powell from NYTimes contacted me about this article he was doing about Shirley and the Mastics. Though he didn't use anything he interviewed me about, he did a pretty good job of not interfering with opinion.

Funny you should say that... I was just contacted by Newsday regarding the arts community in Mastic Beach. It is my understanding that MB is creating an arts council. For film-fests, public works and using the MBPOA clubhouse to show off some art. It's in the VERY early stages.
At AntiHamptons we are thinking of having an artists potluck. Maybe call it the Unkechaug Salón or maybe the Peninsular Knobs, referencing the article — make it a gathering of stimulating people created to amuse one another and to increase their knowledge through conversation. Just something we are throwing around...
I too was bummed that ahem I wasnt mentioned hahah and neither was mr.bloggins. Anyway miss anti hamptons I agree and I am in 100 percent
some things are better off left a secret. ever consider that?
