This past Monday I went to Kelly McMasters book release party at the National Arts Club on Gramercy Park south. I highly recommend getting your hands on a copy of her book, Welcome to Shirley, A Memoir of an Atomic Town. If you at all have anything to do with the Tri-hamlet it really opens you up to what is so good about Mastic/Shirley. It also victimizes the people of the town to the big brother which till this day are still constantly dumping on us. The book and its popularity is really going to show the public who is the real bad guy in the skeme of all the Mastic bashing.
